MedCounter is a pharmacy management app built for small Indian pharmacies. This page explains what information we collect from the medcounter.in waitlist form and how we use it. The MedCounter mobile app has its own data terms shared at sign-up.
What we collect
If you submit the waitlist form, we store:
- Your name and phone number (required, so we can reach you).
- Your city and shop name (optional, helps us plan pilot regions).
- Anything you type in the message field (optional).
- A non-reversible hash of your IP address, used purely to rate-limit abuse. We do not store the raw IP.
- Your browser's user-agent string, used to debug submission issues.
How we use it
- To contact you about the MedCounter pilot — via WhatsApp, phone call, or email.
- To send occasional updates if MedCounter launches features that may interest you. You can ask us to stop at any time.
- To understand demand by region and SKU mix (in aggregate — never tied back to your shop name in any external summary).
Who we share with
We don't sell, rent, or share your contact details with anyone outside the MedCounter team. The waitlist data lives in our Supabase project (hosted in India). Cloudflare hosts this website and may see anonymous request metadata as your browser loads pages.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or until you've been a non-customer for 24 months and have asked us to stop contacting you — whichever is sooner.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Show you the data we hold about you.
- Correct or update it.
- Delete it permanently.
- Stop contacting you for any purpose.
Email hello@medcounter.in and we'll act on it within 7 business days.
Cookies and analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without setting cookies or fingerprinting your browser. There is no third-party advertising, no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, and nothing tracking you across the web.
Changes to this page
We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top whenever this page changes meaningfully. For material changes affecting people on the waitlist, we'll also send a one-off WhatsApp message.
